After he was arrested on March 18, 2014, Allman was charged with twelve felonies. He was accused of stealing more than $500 from a vulnerable adult, aggravated motor vehicle theft, and eight counts of identity theft and forgery. He was found guilty of all of the charges and is now serving a sentence of two to eight years in jail. While this sentence seems harsh, it should give some hope to future felons.

Several of the underlying charges allege that Allman stole the victim’s bank account. His victim was a woman who had died without a will. The theft was not small, however.
